Dee was born in North Carolina and moved to the Atlantic Beach area in 1973 where she still resides. She is a lead volunteer annually for the 26.2 with Donna Breast Cancer Marathon, a supporter of the Jacksonville Humane Society, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and WJCT.
